Congratulations to the prize winners

At the end of the final performance of the season of One Act Plays, the winners of the Edythe Brook Cooper Playwriting Competition were announced.

First prize was awarded to Rob Attenborough for his play Senses Working Overtime.

Second prize was awarded to Bruce Olive for his play Feeding the Pigeons in Trafalgar Square.

Third prize was awarded to Hugh O’Brien for his play Love in a Food Court.

BATS also awarded the following trophies for the season:

Best director: Sue Sewell, Feeding the Pigeons in Trafalgar Square.

Best actor (male): Shaun Bennett, Feeding the Pigeons in Trafalgar Square.

Best actor (female): Rochelle Cameron, Love in a Food Court.

Audience choice award for best play: Senses Working Overtime.

Congratulations to all the prize winners, and thank you to the directors and casts of all three plays. Thank you also to the backstage crew, technical crew and front of house crew, who all helped make this a highly successful season for BATS Theatre Company.
